Offer Letter

An offer letter is an official letter from the university to a prospective student confirming acceptance into a certain programme of study. This letter is also known as an acceptance letter or an admission offer letter.

There are two types of offer letter; conditional and unconditional offer letter.

If you receive an offer letter from a UK university with conditions attached, it indicates that you were accepted and the letter is called a conditional letter. The offer letter becomes unconditional if you fulfill all of the requirements stated by the university.

An unconditional offer letter is given to students who have met all requirements for admission to universities in the United Kingdom. An official acceptance letter and an unconditional offer letter from a UK university work in the same ways.

Here are the sample documents of both conditional and unconditional offer letters.

The format of the letters may differ from university but the content remain the same.
